You start with making a very small thumbnail image. From here, you let your work ' grow ' to a larger-than-life size. You respond to what is already drew. With new steps you enlarge your work. You can add or remove paper, connect elements of your drawing with something new, erase, or paint/draw over it, and add new footage.

In an inspiring environment to the Westerdok, close to Central Station Amsterdam, Ateliers Westerdok has beautiful spacious and light studios.
Ateliers Westerdok is a cultural meeting place where various activities are offered.
Anyone interested in learning to paint and draw is welcome at the studio.
Ateliers Westerdok wants, as much as possible, people to take active part to make Art.
There is attention for the craft and techniques, but in the end, a private contemporary interpretation is the heart of our lessons and in the development of the participants. The art teachers are artists with a modern art education, mostly connected with contemporary art galleries and teaching with a refreshing view.
The art studio, of which the studio rooms are spacious, light and high-ceilinged, is located at the Westerdok at the Amsterdam city centre, between Het IJ and De Jordaan. At walking distance of 8 minutes from Amsterdam Central station.
