Advanced Dutch Conversation Course (level B1+)

Give your confidence a boost and join this interactive and advanced Dutch course. You will practice Dutch in several situations and contexts. Each lesson is designed as a workshop, with a clear goal and tools (vocab and grammar) to reach that goal. Don’t expect a lot of homework, but you usually will have to read a text or watch a video before each lesson.
Main topics / situations of this course include:
- Work meetings
- A tour around the offices and gallery of De Stookplaats
- Job interviews
- Dutch politics and news
- Art and culture
- A Dutch movie
- An active field trip to Hilversum, Utrecht or Amersfoort
- A visit to a restaurant or theatre during the last lesson.
The course consists of 1 intake by phone and 11 weekly lessons of 2 hours each, plus a field trip. We will kick off on WEDNESDAY EVENING 17 APRIL from 7.15 - 9.30 pm.
Our lessons go beyond sitting in a room between four walls. In order to make our students feel comfortable with Dutch, we create many interactive and practical situations. Role plays and assignments 'in the wild', such as a tour around our fascinating location, are part of our lessons. Also, we will organically weave in the grammar rules during the exercises we do. And after each lesson, we encourage you to practice what you've learned and expand your vocabulary. Why we do all this? Because language learning is about creating (fun!) memories.
