Dutch B2-1 is the first of two standard courses in our advanced level of Dutch, and focuses on Chapters 1 - 4 from the book "Contact! 3". It is intended for those who have successfully completed their work with "Contact! 2" or an equivalent book, have a regular, working knowledge of Dutch grammar, and wish to improve their Dutch.
The course is 12 sessions long. Each session consists of 3 lesson hours (each of 45 minutes) for a total of 36 hours. Participants of this course begin studies at level B2 based on language levels as described in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
After completion of the course
After completing the course, participants will be able to speak more fluidly using more advanced phrases, verb conjugations, and descriptions. They will use more complex sentence structures and use more sophisticated language. Transactions and conversations
will be easier and they will more easily understand and speak Dutch with less strain. They will begin to vary their word choice based on their development of a broader vocabulary.
