The course covers chapters 1 to 6 of the book "Contact! 1". Participants of this course are starting their Dutch language studies and will end at CEFR level A1, based on language levels as described in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
This course is provided daily from Monday to Thursday. There are 24 sessions, each session consisting of 4 lesson hours of 45 minutes each, with a total of 72 lesson hours, duration approximately 4,5 weeks.

After completion of the course
After completing the course, participants will understand the basics of Dutch grammar. They will be able to greet people, tell time and count. They will be able to complete simple everyday activities such as buying groceries and ordering in a restaurant, and
hold simple conversations about such subjects as school, family structure, holidays and the workday. They can ask questions and discuss topics relative to everyday life using basic sentence construction relative to time and place. Relative to travel, they
will be able to order tickets, give and understand directions.
